Family owned and run, Gina started Plant Roots in 2021 with the mission to bring serenity and nature into everyone’s space (plant lover or not) Along the way we found a love for more than just plants. We found joy in sourcing from local vendors and other small businesses and artisans. What was once a tiny corner plant shop has grown into your neighborhood shop for all things plants, gifts, jewelry, amazing candles and so much more. But we knew it couldn’t stop there for us. In November of 2024, we opened our expansion coffee/bookshop, The Bookery. We wanted The Bookery to be more than just a coffee & book shop. We wanted to create an idyllic sanctuary, a place to fill with stories and laughter. A place for conversations, meeting new faces and old, finding your new favorite book that you will read again and again for years to come. We hope that Plant Roots & The Bookery can be that sanctuary for you as it has been for us.
